Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
We are taking the current outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) very seriously and are monitoring government advice daily. The current government advice is that ‘there is presently no reason people should stop doing their daily sport and physical activities as they normally would’ and we do not plan to close the centre unless instructed by the government.
Although we always strive to maintain a clean centre, we have increased the frequency of our cleaning and are regularly sanitising all toilets, sinks, taps, door handles and gym equipment.
We are providing tubes of hand gel around the centre for customers to use and have communicated to staff the importance of handwashing correctly and the correct course of action if they feel unwell.
If you’ve visited us within the last couple of weeks, you will have noticed posters around the centre asking you to:
- wash your hands or sanitise on entry (there are toilets by the front door)
- not enter the centre if you have any symptoms or have recently visited a country advised against travelling from the FCO
- wash your hands before and after you climb
- not touch your eyes or mouth if your hands aren’t clean
We thank you for your support and understanding with this.
