Calling all climbers!

We’ve had a fantastic week at Boulder Hut. The excellent Emma started as assistant manager on Tuesday and has been busy getting up to speed with the business.  Emma has a wealth of experience in the leisure sector and campaigns and is an all-round amazing person! Her positivity, smile and fun attitude is what Boulder Hut is all about – I’ll try and get her on camera next week for you to meet her on our Facebook page.

We’ve had meetings with builders planning our fit out, our phone line has been installed, and we did manage a cheeky trip to Ikea to start buying those working life essentials, such as a coffee press, table and chairs. And our desk chairs and lockers also turned up! Bonus!

Our recruitment is going really well, with lots of great applications received. The closing date is tomorrow Sunday 8th, so if you haven’t already, get your application in!

The wall is now being manufactured and Walltopia have sent us our rendered images, so we’ll start posting these on Facebook.

We’ve started to look at holds and planning our route setting – so climbers, we need your input! What grades are you currently climbing and what are you aiming to tick off by the end of the year?  Let us know on our Facebook page.

Have a great week 😊
